NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

(Document Synopsis)

The Department of Parks and Recreation for the City and County of Denver will accept concession proposals, to manage one or more of the following golf operations, as outlined in RFP No. TGC-1-02:

City Park Golf Course retail food and beverage and professional golf services;
Wellshire Golf Course professional golf services, and;
Willis Case Golf Course retail food and beverage and professional golf services.

Each proposer must demonstrate their ability to invest $6,700,000 in operating equipment, renovation and upgrades at the above mentioned facilities. The City and County of Denver (City) will not pay for operating equipment; fixtures and tenant finish at the facilities.

A pre-proposal conference will be held at the Department of Parks and Recreation, 2300 15th Street, Denver, Colorado 80202 on __________, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. in the first floor conference room. NO PROPOSAL WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD UNLESS THE PROPOSER HAS ATTENDED THE PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE.

Sealed proposals must be delivered to the Manager of Parks and Recreation for the City and County of Denver, 2300 15th Street, Suite #152, Denver, Colorado 80202, on __________, 2002, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Manager of Parks and Recreation reserves the right to reject all or portions of any or all proposals, to waive irregularities and technicalities, to re-advertise or to proceed to provide the service otherwise in the best interest of the City and County of Denver. The Manager of Parks and Recreation may, at her sole discretion, modify or amend any and all provisions in the Request for Proposals.

The City and County of Denver will only provide one (1) copy of each Request for Proposals document to each firm.
