Colorado EZ Docs is a Colorado partnership created by two experienced licensed Colorado attorneys.   Mayra E. Rosa and Lisa M. Covington together have over twenty-years of family law experience.  Ms. Rosa and Ms. Covington have teamed up to provide a simple and inexpensive legal document preparation service.

 

Mayra E. Rosa, Co-Founder, was born in New York and raised in New Jersey.  Ms. Rosa completed her undergraduate studies at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey.  She continued her legal education at Seton Hall University, School of Law in Newark.   New Jersey.  In 1995, Ms. Rosa and her husband moved to Denver.  They have two children.  In 1997, she established her own law office specializing in family law and real estate matters.

  

Lisa M. Covington, Co-Founder, has lived in Colorado for over 30 years.  Ms. Covington completed her under-graduated studies at Metropolitan State College in 1988. Thereafter, Ms. Covington continued her legal education at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas graduating in 1994.  Ms. Covington was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1994 and later admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for Colorado in 1995.  Since 2000, Ms. Covington has been an adjunct professor with Aurora Community College teaching paralegal students civil litigation.  In 2004, Ms. Covington received a contract with the State of Colorado to act as a Child and Family Investigator in contested child custody cases.
