Although initially used for tracking parts in vehicle manufacturing, QR codes now are used in a much broader context, including both commercial tracking applications and convenience-oriented applications aimed at mobile phone users (termed mobile tagging). QR codes may be used to display text to the user, to add a vCard contact to the user's device, to open a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), or to compose an e-mail or text message. Users can generate and print their own QR codes for others to scan and use by visiting one of several paid and free QR code generating sites or apps.
It is important that the owner or entrepreneur of a small business realize that the sales process is an integral part of the marketing concept and a key element of a company's revenue producing capabilities. Without sales, there would be no company or the need to consider establishing one in the first place. Therefore, it is important to understand that sales in a business are defined as: that process which allows the present transfer of title to tangible personal property or intangible personal property for a specified or negotiated price. It is important to determine whether a transaction is a sale of goods or whether it falls under some other category because of legislative restrictions or requirements such as taxes.
Retail sales of products or services are generally made without written contracts, except in special cases where there are implicit contracts between the parties to the transaction. Otherwise, most manufacturing, retailing, wholesaling, distributing, franchising, real estate construction sales, etc. must be based on written contractual obligations, which are enforceable under the law of the Uniformed Commercial Code in California and throughout the United States.
The sales process must be considered fully since it is not just the act of selling alone, but generally also includes the following peripheral component parts:
As previously reviewed during the “Marketing Process” chapter, promotion represents information that serves a legally marketed product or service. Promotion has three objectives in mind:
Promotion strives to increase demand of a product, thus minimizing the importance of the product’s price in customer decision making. Therefore, in considering the mix of promotion strategies, it is important to consider the following elements of advertising.
Oneself It important to evaluate yourself, who are you, what do want from your life, what do you stand for? Be in total harness with yourself; try to find your strengths and determination.
Hopefully, your passion in life and the purpose for your life will be rediscovered. In business we all want to be successful, we have a desire and a want to be the best and sometimes we forget the primary objective to take care of the client’s needs first, not to put our needs before the client. The client can sense your reactions, even if it’s unspoken. When he feels your emotions or ego is part of the transaction, he will hesitate to complete the deal. Always keeping a positive energy will improve the situation.
We all have within ourselves the ability to be our best within our endeavors. We need to make our weaknesses our strengths by improving our skills in areas than warrant correction.
Two of the elements we need toward evaluating ourselves are learning how we deal with stress and pressure. These two factors can create discomfort.
It is your interpretation of the issue at hand and how you act upon it as opposed to reacting which is important. One does not need to be reactive, but rather, to act. The most effective way to deal with these issues is to stay balanced.
